“The Periapt Shards are the only thing that can harm or weaken Eckhardt. The Lux Veritatis used all three Shards to keep Eckhardt locked away for 500 years.
 
In 1945 something happened that released the Black Alchemist from the pit. The Cabal had a hand in it, but the details are vague. They’re on my list too.”

ECKHARDT
“In reckoning for 500 years of pain, I swore everlasting vengeance on my Lux Veritatis jailors. Screams of agony were all they carried into their final silence. None escaped.
But the cursed Shards that bound me vanished beyond my reach.
Wherever they lie I will own the Shards. Never again will mortals be armed against me and my sacred quest.”

PARIS
TOM-CARVIER Gp 1.22                  
Lara has 3x context buttons to press.
If Lara  is predominantly friendly [3x out of 5x]
Carvier gives her the notebook.
If Lara is predominantly unfriendly she has to steal it from the apartment.

TOM-TRAMP Gp 2.4                        
No special outcome.
TOM-JANITOR Gp 2.18                   
4x possible dialogues:
#1 If Lara hasn’t already spoken to Janice she gets the brushoff.
#2 If she has spoken to Janice she gets to talk to the janitor. She has one friendly/unfriendly choice and a context choice. If she has 160 Euros she can go right to #3. If not she goes to get the money then goes to #3.
#3 A friendly choice gets Lara info about the Box and a key to the club. Unfriendly gets her nothing.
#4 Lara returns with the Box and gets the Doorman’s password.

TOM-CAFÉ OWNER Gp 2.17          
Two dialogues:
#1 Lara just wanders in not having spoken to anyone on the street. Owner is brusque. She leaves.
No special outcome.

#2 After talking to others on the street Lara knows owner’s name is Pierre.
1x context button.
[She hears about the Box and gets the café owner’s key whatever she does.]

TOM-CAFÉ OWNER Gp 2.29          
If Lara is friendly Pierre is shitty and she keeps the ‘Box’ from him.
If Lara is unfriendly Pierre feels bullied and gives her the Francine contact for Bouchard. Lara gives him the ‘Box’..."

"DEMO INSTRUCTIONS

START OF DEMO LEVEL - WALKING
OK, why don’t we explore and see what’s is in this sewer.
To make me walk press forward on the left analogue stick.
As long as I’m in walking mode I won’t fall over any edges.

TO STEER
Steer me around by pressing right of left on the left analogue stick.

RUNNING
If you want me to run press forward on the left analogue stick.

TO WALK BACKWARDS
If you want me to walk backwards press back on the pad.

TO SIDE STEP
To get me to sidestep press L1 and press right or left on the direction arrows.

TO ROTATE ON THE SPOT
I can rotate on the spot if you press left or right direction arrows on the pad.

INTERACTING WITH OBJECTS
I can use objects if you walk me up to them and press X (action button).

TO DRAW WEAPON
Those rats look dangerous.
To draw my weapon press R1. I will automatically target on the nearest rat.
Fire by pressing X.
You can pick off the rats any time you want.

CLIMBING
I will climb onto any ledge or ladder automatically if you walk me up close to it..."
