The Shadow Histories is a six-volume series of retro-futuristic adventure novels intended for mature teenagers and adults. The heroine, twelve-year-old Cody Conmar, is an Eloin – a unique individual with a mysterious past and unsuspected abilities who is threatened by dark forces from within the shadow world. This largely unseen shadow realm exists in parallel with our own and has affected events in human history for centuries. Cody has no knowledge of her place in this other world, nor is she aware of the abilities which lie dormant within her or the truth of her origins.
